Golf Carting Surfside and Garden City
Some of our favorite afternoons are spent cruising by golf cart through Surfside Beach and Garden City, stopping along the way for food, ice cream, beach time, or a waterfront view.
Our Story
Surfside Life Stays was built by locals who genuinely enjoy the same beaches, waterways, fishing spots, golf-cart rides, restaurants, and coastal traditions we share with our guests.
More Than a Vacation-Rental Company
We call the South Strand home, and the places featured throughout this website are the same places we return to throughout the year.
We know what it feels like to spend the afternoon riding a golf cart through Surfside Beach and Garden City, stop for something cold, grab a bite to eat, and keep rolling until the light starts to soften over the coast.
We know the appeal of taking a chair and a fishing rod down to The Point in Garden City, letting the day stretch into sunset, and staying a little longer for some surf fishing as the crowds thin out.
We have fished from the Atlantic Avenue bridge, walked the piers, spent evenings along the MarshWalk, explored Ocean Lakes by golf cart, and enjoyed the quiet pockets of the coast that visitors sometimes miss.
We want guests to experience more than a rental home. We want them to understand the rhythm of the area and find the places that make the South Strand feel personal.
How We Experience the Coast
Being local means we can share the small details that turn a good vacation into one your family remembers.
Some of our favorite afternoons are spent cruising by golf cart through Surfside Beach and Garden City, stopping along the way for food, ice cream, beach time, or a waterfront view.
The Point is one of those places where a beach day naturally becomes an evening. We enjoy staying into the sunset hours, watching the water change, and casting into the surf after the heat of the day fades.
Fishing from the Atlantic Avenue bridge is a simple local tradition—watching the tide, dropping a line, and seeing what is moving through the creek.
We enjoy evenings on the MarshWalk for waterfront dining, live music, boats coming and going, and the easygoing energy that makes Murrells Inlet special.
We know the value of choosing the right stretch of beach for the kind of day you want—family time, shelling, fishing, walking, or simply setting up somewhere quieter.
Ocean Lakes has its own rhythm—golf carts, family routines, beach days, evening rides, and the kind of traditions that bring generations back year after year.
For Our Guests
We want guests to arrive knowing more than the door code. We want them to understand where they are staying, what is nearby, and how to make the most of their time here.
There is a good chance that a place we suggest is somewhere we have taken our own family, spent an evening, cast a line, ridden a golf cart, or returned to more than once.
For Vacation-Home Owners
We understand that a vacation home is more than an address on a booking platform. It is an investment, a responsibility, and often a place filled with family memories.
Because we live here, we understand the neighborhoods, seasonal patterns, guest expectations, Saturday turnover demands, coastal conditions, and the details that can affect both the guest experience and the long-term care of a home.
Clear listing content, organized property details, quality photography coordination, and honest descriptions of the home and its location.
Reservation management, guest communication, calendar oversight, cleaning coordination, and property-readiness follow-through.
Responsive communication, accountability, and a management relationship built around the owner—not just the reservation.
Why Being Local Matters
The South Strand is not one single vacation experience. Surfside Beach, Garden City, Ocean Lakes, Murrells Inlet, Myrtle Beach, Pawleys Island, and Litchfield each offer something different.
One family may want golf-cart rides and resort energy. Another may want creek fishing and quiet mornings. Some guests want the Boardwalk and major attractions, while others want a slower day at The Point followed by dinner on the MarshWalk.
Because we live here, we can help guests understand those differences before they book.
Golf-cart traditions, oceanfront amenities, family activities, and a vacation-community atmosphere.
A welcoming beach town with the pier, local dining, family-friendly shoreline, and easy golf-cart days.
The Point, creek access, fishing, beach days, the pier, and a relaxed family atmosphere.
MarshWalk dining, live music, boating, fishing, watersports, and waterfront evenings.
“Those recommendations do not come from a travel guide. They come from living here.”
