Surfside Life Stays was created around a simple belief: a coastal vacation should feel personal, comfortable, and easy from the moment you begin planning. We connect guests with distinctive vacation homes while sharing the local insight that helps turn a place to stay into a memorable coastal experience.
Our Story
Surfside Life Stays grew from a deep appreciation for the communities along the south end—from Ocean Lakes and Surfside Beach to Garden City and Murrells Inlet.
These are places where families return year after year, where beach days become traditions, and where the best memories often come from the simplest moments: morning coffee on the porch, a golf-cart ride through the campground, dinner near the water, or one more walk along the sand.
We created Surfside Life Stays to help guests discover that experience through vacation homes that feel welcoming, well cared for, and connected to the character of the coast.

Founder & Owner Relations
Surfside Life Stays was founded by David Duckworth, a Murrells Inlet local, Realtor®, husband, father, and grandfather who understands why people are drawn to life along the coast.
Through Surfside Life Homes, David has focused on helping people understand coastal communities, vacation properties, and long-term opportunities throughout the South Strand. Surfside Life Stays extends that same local perspective into the guest and property-owner experience.
David personally leads owner relationships, helping property owners feel informed, supported, and connected to the company caring for their vacation home. His vision is to build a vacation rental company known for dependable service, well-presented homes, and local guidance that helps every guest feel more connected to the area.
